Just Write About It was created to help BIPOC individuals authentically tell their story. We believe that everyone has a unique story to tell about their business, personal life, culture, and/or a specific topic related to their experience.
However, low literacy skills discourage individuals from telling their story.

Meet DelrishaFounder of Just Write About It
I started my writing journal as a poet. Eager to express myself, but only on paper. My professional career as an Executive Director for the non-profit At Bat has rewarded me with numerous writing opportunities that have helped fund the organization.
I started this business after voluntarily teaching a workshop on non-profit creation and bylaw writing. My class was small, but all participants went on to obtain their tax-exempt status and grow their non-profit after successfully completing my workshop.

I went on to do free one-on-one business coaching sessions. Through these sessions, I helped aspiring entrepreneurs create business plans, mission/vision statements, and elevator pitches.
I am now contracted as a STEM Coordinator for Southeastern Michigan, where I assist out-of-school time providers with expanding their STEM curriculum. In this role, I’ve had the pleasure of supporting small and large nonprofits with one-on-one coaching and educational group training.
In my free time, I do enjoy writing for pleasure in my personal journal and expressing myself through poetry.
